What is Shades for Migraine?
Shades for Migraine is a global awareness campaign that asks everyone to wear a pair of sunglasses on June 21 to show their support for the 1 billion people living with migraine disease worldwide. The campaign is getting better each year! See how you can take part and help spread the word.
Taking part is easy, just follow these four simple steps:
Put on your shades on (or around) June 21st, World Migraine Day to show you care for people living with migraine disease.
Take a photo of you in your sunglasses and don’t forget to get your friends, family and coworkers in on the fun.
Post your photo on social media with the hashtag #ShadesForMigraine and challenge 3 friends to take part too!
Watch your impact multiply!

SFM’s Taking it to the Streets events involve gathering at populated landmarks to raise awareness and share information about migraine. The events are a way to get the public to recognize sunglasses as a symbol of migraine! *Events have been canceled for 2020 due to COVID-19, events will resume in 2021!*
